About Sandie Baillargeon (1955-2022)
Sandie was an authority on increasing the effectiveness of dental business systems. She was the author of textbooks on Dental Office Administration and was the owner/operator of Dental Office Consulting Services (DOCS), which specialized in dental business planning, staff development, consulting and continuing education seminars.
She created the first Certificate Course in Dental Practice Management at the University of Toronto and had lectured at dental faculties across North America. She also had articles published in the Journal of the Canadian Dental Association, Oral Health Magazine, Dentaltown (US), Oral Health, and many more.
After her passing in 2022, her signature courses on Dental Practice Management, Dental Treatment Coordination and Dental Office Administration, that were then provided through DOCS were acquired by CIDE and are being made available to Canadian Dental Professionals after necessary revisions and updates.

Sandie and I had known each other since 2013. I had always been inspired by her personality and academic and methodical approach. I always sought to learn from her and often asked her opinions on various ideas, as and when needed.
I was fortunate to have worked with her on a few occasions including producing course content and always looked forward to educational projects with her. We invited her to speak on various occasions and she always obliged.
After her untimely passing in 2022, it seemed unfair for Canadian Dental Professionals including ITDs to be deprived of the wealth of knowledge and experience that she put together in her online courses and hence an effort was made to revive her legacy and relaunch her online courses after necessary updates for dental professionals as well as corporates to benefit from.
I sincerely hope to contribute to the continued professional growth of Canadian Dental Professionals through these programs and keep adding value to their professional journeys.
